Thereâs plenty of ear candy for indie-rock fans, from the aforementioned âClams Casinoâ to the single âPetco,â a musing on humanityâs increasing distance from nature as she looks in a pet-store window at âtwo doves wrapped up in filthy and true loveâ and the âsideways gaze of a lizardâ as the electric guitars build the songâs intensity on each verse (and even slip in a very âOK Computerâ solo toward the end).
